The good news is that there are home sticks to deal with this problem. Above all,  they  reduce itching.

Onion

Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, onion is a great treatment for hives. It may burn a little at first, but you’ll be grateful for the relief it brings.

  • All you have to do is cut the onion into rings and rub into the itchy areas.
  • Hold it in place with a patch or bandage and allow to work for at least half an hour. If the area is very supple (knee, elbow, etc.), we recommend that you rub half of the onion into it and do not wash it off.

Cold baths

Sometimes your skin is very red and itchy too much. In this case, cold water or ice are great ways to treat your symptoms. Cold constricts blood vessels and prevents the secretion of histamine.

Remember, don’t put ice cubes directly on your skin or “burn” yourself. Wrap ice cubes in a thin cloth.

You can take a  cold shower or bath if the hives have spread a  lot.

Baking soda

You should use hand-warm water for this treatment. This is because it is the best temperature for dissolving baking soda.

  • Fill the tub with water and add a few tablespoons of this invaluable substance.
  • Immerse the damaged body part (or your entire body if you wish). Then let soak for 20 minutes.
  • Dry yourself thoroughly. Pat gently with a towel so you don’t irritate your skin more and more.

Apple cider vinegar

This is commonly known in cooking. Thanks to its antihistamine properties, this product quickly reduces inflammation and itching.

It also helps improve skin health.
